Fast & Curious is a two-round ECE technical event that tests concept understanding, clue interpretation, and smart decision-making through analytical and strategy-based challenges.

Step 01

ROUND I: FILTER THE SIGNAL

Teams receive two scenario-based passage that contains both relevant and misleading details. Participants must identify the underlying concept behind each scenario and answer technical questions based on correct interpretation.

Pen-and-paper round

10 non–MCQ questions per passage

No negative marking

Time limit: 25 minutes

Evaluation based on accuracy and completion speed

Top 8 teams advance to Round II

Step 02

ROUND II: BID THE REVEAL

Teams must identify electronic components from blurred images by bidding how many reveal levels they need. Each team manages a virtual budget to unlock reveal levels and hints - balancing risk and reward.

Each team starts with ₹1000 game currency

Component images revealed in progressive blur levels

Teams bid number of reveals they need for identification

Each reveal level has a fixed cost

Lowest bid gets the chance to answer

The bidding team pays based on reveal level chosen

The wheel is spun before any reveals which may add hurdles or advantages

Correct identification earns ₹500

Official hints available at ₹200 each

Team with highest remaining balance wins
